Galway United may still be a minor club, but Nick's ideas are captivating to supporters.

Become a Galway Member and See Manchester United!

With 600 members (who hold a year-long free pass) and Terryland Park as its home ground, Nick launched a fund and gathered sponsors to elevate this team to a leading role in Irish football.
Furthermore, within a few weeks, he transformed the stadium into a massive event venue. Concerts, local celebrity shows, lotteries, post-match equestrian events, dance parties... he did it all at the stadium.

Gaining momentum, Nick diversified membership benefits. He offered Galway caps, granted access to the field, invited members to sponsor-provided buffets, and even gave away replica uniform sets. Nick's momentum was unstoppable. Eventually, he even started gifting match tickets to each member. And not just for Galway games. The destination? Old Trafford! The team to support? Manchester United!? To Nick, the secrets of the stock market (artifacts) held no value anymore. He started reading the News of the World from the back page ('I'm a worker's son, you see. I start with the sports pages.' - original text), dozing off in front of the TV while watching Sky Sports. He dreamt of 'Galway United winning the European Cup!'
'We might be minor now, but we've signed some very good players recently. Attendance is good too. It's the start of a great season.'

Finally, we had to ask what Leeson was plotting in Hong Kong.
'I was attending a Capital Investment Association meeting in Hong Kong. I've found financial partners for the club.'
This man's game of hide-and-seek seems far from over!
