Whisky, Cutty Sark's Pop-Up Bar 'Cutty Cargo'
Featuring world-renowned bartenders, this pop-up bar, 'Cutty Cargo,' celebrates the blended whisky Cutty Sark with music and entertainment. It will appear at the 'Tokyo International BarShow + WHISKY LIVE 2014' held at Tokyo Dome City Prism Hall on September 20th (Sat) and 21st (Sun).

Cutting-Edge Cocktails Crafted by Top Bartenders from NY, London, and Tokyo
Cutty Sark was born in London in 1923. Its smooth, refined taste comes primarily from malts sourced from Speyside, Scotland, a renowned whisky region, including The Macallan and Glenrothes. Unlike the standard whiskies of the time, which often used heavy caramel coloring, Cutty Sark was developed as a whisky with minimal coloring. It was named after the 'Cutty Sark,' a ship that was the fastest of its time, symbolizing the brand's adventurous spirit.
Like the Cutty Sark ship that sailed the globe, the premium bar 'Cutty Cargo,' which has journeyed through London, New York, and Barcelona, makes its debut in Japan this autumn. It will open as a pop-up bar for two days only.
Guest bartenders Jim Meehan and Shingo Gokan from New York, Wayne Collins from London, and Yujiro Kiyozaki from Tokyo have been invited to create cutting-edge cocktails using Cutty Sark. Additionally, a limited number of guests can attend a brand lecture by Kirsteen Campbell, who became Cutty Sark's Master Blender at a young age in 2010.
