"THE END" features no traditional opera elements such as singers or an orchestra. The story unfolds solely through Hatsune Miku's arias and recitatives, computer-generated sound, and visuals.

Orchard Hall, a venue renowned for classical music and opera, was equipped with a 10.2-channel surround sound system and seven high-resolution projectors, creating an electronic fortress. Within this environment, Miku's journey begins with the question, "Am I going to die?" The production attempts to reinterpret the tragic structures found in traditional operas, such as "What is death?" and "What is the end?", for the contemporary era through the medium of Hatsune Miku.

Furthermore, the stage design by architect Shohei Shigematsu, also the head of Rem Koolhaas's New York office, has drawn considerable attention. Performances are also scheduled at the prestigious Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, France, on November 13th (Wednesday) and 15th (Friday). This marks a new frontier for Hatsune Miku and opens the door to new possibilities for opera.
