An Annual Celebration of New Discoveries Through Play
Mammoth Wow-Wow is an annual special event by "Mammoth School," a project exploring new standards in education through media and workshops. Like a "pow-wow," which means "a gathering of people" in a Native American language, various events are held each year to enjoy nature with family and friends and deepen bonds.
The music lineup includes Aya Tsuji and Caravan, as well as Eric Jacobsen, popular for his children's TV show appearances. Additionally, there are plenty of free workshops for families, such as designing T-shirts with stamps, trying parent-child yoga, and making vases from recycled materials, along with paid programs like kayaking and candle making.
Furthermore, you can enjoy limited collaboration bagels from "TRE FLIP BAGEL & BREADS," which uses domestic wheat and natural yeast, and sweets from "Shokudo Souffle," which just opened in Kyoto in March, all while dining under the open sky.
Tickets go on sale starting Friday, March 15th. You can choose from various ticket options to suit your plans, including 2-day tickets, day tickets, and the "Coleman x Mammoth Wow-Wow" package which includes dinner and breakfast prepared by food researcher Yuka Yamato, known for her expertise in brown rice vegetarian cuisine and outdoor cooking, as well as tent setup lectures.
This is an annual festival of nature and family, where children can play to their heart's content and make new discoveries through their experiences. It is sure to leave a lasting memory in the hearts of both children and parents.
