Text & Artwork byKoichi Kuwabara

smile rock is not over, It continues from here.

Afterwards, the cleanup was finished.

Kozo Miyoshi, the photographer, snapped a commemorative photo!
What a luxurious memory.

Endings are always a little sad,
but new hopes for the future are beginning to emerge everywhere.

Mikito Ozeki, whose first solo exhibition this was, is seeing his reputation soar.
This exhibition seems to have been the catalyst
for his participation in an art fair in Monaco. Truly a welcome hope.
And tomorrow, we are scheduled to visit the office of Saburo Hamanaka (ROAR),
whom I met through Jun Sasaki, who was captivated by Ozeki's work, along with Mikito.

Regarding this exhibition, smile rock again,
following up on the previous one 18 years ago,
my most trusted old friend Seiji Nagai, who served as art director,
has shown remarkable progress since his activities post-3/11.
As a friend, I look forward to and am proud to introduce his future endeavors.

A Black Ludwig van Beethoven?

I quipped, only to be met with exasperation

by Sage. This figurine,

is James Marshall Hendrix.

Each collection is a museum in itself.

Dangerous!!

Whoops, I forgot to add 'Underground'.

The Underground Museum.

The fact that such works are cherished and collected speaks volumes of the artist's ROCKn'ROLL spirit, needing no further explanation.
Isn't it something any man would aspire to?

When I thought, 'I want that too,' it turned out to be a gift for Mr. Takizawa of NEIGHBORHOOD. Giving him two boxes of such stylish car accessories is only possible because Takishin trusts that he can use them in a way that truly honors their spirit.
What enviable, extravagant friendship!

There was a time known as the Dep't era.

Hiroshi Fujiwara and Hajime Tachibana,
and Seiji Nagai created the brand mark for that. I believe this is it.
I don't know the details, so please forgive any misunderstandings.

And today, I find myself feeling
a profound sense of Hardcore in Seiji Nagai's style.

Time Waits for No One
