What?! What is this incredibly cool car, like Ashura?

Kunichi Nomura arrived at our appointment quite late,

and he told me this car,

is from the movie American Graffiti,

that movie.

Really? That's...

my favorite movie that inspired Snakeman Show!!

And apparently, the person who owns the convertible version of the same model
is Shinsuke Takizawa, the don of NEIGHBORHOOD, who was also visiting on the same day... I can't help but sigh at the playful pursuits of these talented individuals who truly live life to the fullest.

And the reason Kunichi Nomura visited Dictionary Club was, of course, for the upcoming SMILE ROCK.

"That's a great idea. We'll support it too."
Amazingly, Mr. Oguchi, who works in PR for North Face, raised his hand to participate.
SMILE ROCK connects with the spirit of North Face.
I was moved to tears by his manliness in supporting and cheering on our endeavor.
But there was a clear reason for his support.

During the Vietnam War, as young men were drafted and sent to the battlefield one after another, the founders of North Face
advocated, "Let's live in the forest."
And it started with an effort to make sleeping bags to protect themselves from the cold, which led to today's North Face brand.
This, apparently, happened in 1968.
North Face, born from the wisdom of living in the forest,
the indomitable spirit of anti-war sentiment among American youth of that era
led to this exhibition, "SMILE ROCK."

And from Mr. Oguchi, the guardian of this project, the person chosen this time was

none other than the uniquely talented Kunichi Nomura himself.

Large, sharp ideas that instantly consumed the time he was late, spewed out like machine-gun fire, leaving the staff breathless and awestruck.

I'm incredibly excited for the completion.

And on this day, overlapping with that, Mr. Takizawa also visited.

Along with photographer Sho Kobayashi and Ikeda from Hot Bike,

So, what's next for smile rock!

It seems the aura of successful individuals (those who achieve what they set out to do) has begun to warmly and deeply envelop Dictionary Club.

Essentially, any place's atmosphere depends on the aura of the people gathered there.

The "smile rock" born from here, rather than being a fleeting fashion trend or something to be consumed,

how will the spirit of ROCK, born in Japan, integrate with the country's climate?

It looks like it's going to be a year of growing excitement.
