Looking back on 2010

The year is drawing to a close. On top of the usual hustle and bustle, my mind feels like it's melting with all the new things about to begin (laughs).
Come to think of it, it was the same at the end of last year...

I'll keep moving forward with all my might next year too!

I was eagerly awaiting the script for "Naniwa Butterfly N.V." and spent the beginning of this year going to the gym. The script arrived on the 5th. After that, I have little memory! (laughs). Even after "Naniwa Butterfly" premiered, I still have little memory! (laughs). All I remember is sheer terror. It was truly frightening... I was constantly anxious about whether I'd make it back to my dressing room each time. It felt like climbing a mountain with no summit in sight.

Thanks to your support, both "Doremifa Wonderland" and "Kiiroi Koinu no Shiawase" (Chukyo TV) have entered their second year, providing me with many encounters and learning opportunities. For "Kiiroi Koinu no Shiawase," I also wrote and produced the song "The World's Best Mom" for Sayaka Aoki. I performed this song at our regular "STB139 Live" and at Nagoya Blue Note.

For the BG brand, we released summer T-shirts, mini tote bags, and pouches. Thanks to your purchases, we were able to donate wristbands to the children at Love Junk. My heartfelt gratitude to all of you.

And from summer onwards, I was filming the NHK drama series "Chizu Chizuru no Shinsatsu Nichiroku." This summer was incredibly hot, wasn't it? Both the location shoots and the prison set felt like hell (laughs).

Additionally, this year at the Kinder Film Festival, we welcomed Koichi Yamadera and Rei Sakuma as guests. I also have a vivid memory of the live dubbing of the feature film "Little Viking Bikki" at Aoyama Theatre. The audience seemed to really enjoy it.

In the fall, the musical "Kaban ni Tsumete Ima no Watashi" is still fresh in my memory. I poured my heart and soul into it with dear friends. With your support, I was able to perform this long-awaited production, experiencing both the extremes of a solo performance and a play filled with team spirit this year. I am truly blessed.

In addition, I filmed for upcoming movies, one-off dramas, and commercials set for release next year. I also enjoyed doing narration work this year, including for "Burata Tamori" and "Robocon."

Currently, while managing my regular work, I am preparing for a Christmas live performance and filming for the January drama series "Misaki Number One!!" Next year, the BG brand will also release new merchandise: "Long Sleeve T-shirts," "Big Tote Bags," and "Stickers." Please look forward to them!
