Flagship Store 'Burberry Ginza Marronnier Dori' Opens!

On April 28, 2010, the new store 'Burberry Ginza Marronnier Dori,' the second directly managed freestanding store, will open. As an opening commemorative item, new colors from the 'Haymarket' series and the new line 'Burberry Brit,' focusing on denim and outerwear, will also be exclusively available at the Ginza Marronnier Dori store.

Ginza Marronnier Dori, a sophisticated district perfect for adult shopping, welcomes a new landmark. The 'Burberry Ginza Marronnier Dori' is set to open on April 28th.

This new flagship store is the second in Japan designed by Burberry's Chief Creative Officer, Christopher Bailey, from concept to completion. The glass facade facing Marronnier Dori and Namiki Dori prominently features Burberry's iconic check, creating a conceptual architecture that speaks to the brand's identity.

Here, in addition to a wide range of imported items including accessories such as bags and wallets, trench coats, fragrances, eyewear, and watches, 'Burberry Brit,' a line focused on denim and outerwear, will also make its debut in Japan.

Furthermore, a limited edition release of bags and accessories from Burberry's signature 'Haymarket' series, featuring the house check combined with colorful trimmings, will be available (photo at top of page).

The rich heritage of British style that continues to be loved, and a design sensibility that embraces the new. At 'Burberry Ginza Marronnier Dori,' one can rediscover the brand's multifaceted charm.
