A bag to wear on the shoulder, around the waist, or like a jacket

Launching in March: The "GABRIELLE CHANEL" Bag

Following the "11.12" bag, featuring the brand's iconic clasp and symbolic double C, which debuted in 2012, and the "BOY CHANEL" that instantly became an it-bag, a new bag collection has been born.

A Bag Inspired by the CHANEL Jacket

The "GABRIELLE CHANEL" bag, which appeared in the Spring/Summer 2015 Ready-to-Wear collection and the 2014/15 Paris-Salzburg Métiers d'Art collection shows, is packed with details essential to discussing the CHANEL jacket. From the collarless design that creates an elegant neckline, to the piping that adorns the edges, the beautiful buttons, and the practical mini pockets. Its enduring style, loved across time, is filled with the aesthetic of Gabrielle Chanel.

The bag, inheriting CHANEL's tradition, utilizes ready-to-wear skills in the placement of buttons and braid, and the finishing of collars and cuffs, with some parts reportedly crafted by the ateliers of Delvaux. Like the jacket itself, not only the exterior but also the interior is perfectly tailored, showcasing CHANEL's essence of merging luxury and fashion throughout.

What's unique is not just its style, but also its portability. As Karl Lagerfeld says, "This is a bag like a jacket. You can tie it, wear it on your hip, on your shoulder, on your back – anywhere, however you like." It can be enjoyed in countless ways.
