A Custom Louis Vuitton Trophy Case Appears at the Final

A Special Design Featuring the Iconic Monogram

The presenters chosen were Carles Puyol, who won the 2010 FIFA World Cup, and Gisele Bündchen, a top model born in Brazil and a Louis Vuitton ambassador. Gisele Bündchen, who expressed great pride in being chosen to present the case, appeared dressed in the Louis Vuitton 2015 Cruise Collection. Just before the final match began, Carles Puyol carried the Louis Vuitton trunk containing the trophy onto the pitch, and the trophy was placed on the podium before an audience of 78,000 spectators.

Commissioned by FIFA in 2010, this special case honors Louis Vuitton's tradition of creating elegant and ingenious trunks for travelers to transport their precious belongings. It was crafted in the Louis Vuitton atelier in Asnières, France. For over 150 years, this atelier has a history of creating sports trophy cases, including a trunk for the silver ewer of the America's Cup yacht race in 1851.
