Kozue Akimoto's Signature Black Hair Merges with CUFFZ's Charm

This new visual was shot in Los Angeles, the birthplace of CUFFZ, as the brand celebrates its 11th year and looks to move forward with renewed spirit. The theme of imbalance, a signature of CUFFZ, is expressed through the contrast between model Kozue Akimoto, whose black hair is iconic, and the atmosphere of LA. The summer collection adds an essence of mature street and rock style.

The bag draped over Kozue Akimoto's shoulder is the "CUFFZ ROCKZ" model from the "Barfly" collection. Barfly is slang for a drunkard, and this bag embodies the origin of the brand, born from founder Rintz Shelton's inspiration: “I want a bag I won't lose even if I'm drunk.”

The "CUFFZ ROCKZ" used in the visual began when Rintz commissioned a tattoo artist for the graphics, bringing together Rintz's favorite icons: rock, skulls, and roses. Based on genuine leather, each bag is meticulously finished with embroidery by skilled artisans.

The Barfly collection is a long-selling item since the brand's inception. Its asymmetrical crescent shape, designed for a balanced look when worn on the shoulder, is a key point of its popularity.
