ETRO Launches Capsule Collection 'Mirabilia'


ETRO has collaborated with Indian contemporary artists Thukral & Tagra to present the capsule collection 'Mirabilia'. The collection will be available from Wednesday, November 13th at select stores, including the ETRO Ginza Main Store and Isetan Shinjuku Store.

Paisley Meets Contemporary Pop Art



As an homage to India, the birthplace of ETRO's iconic paisley motif, the brand has collaborated with Indian artist duo Thukral & Tagra to create a novel, pop art-inspired paisley.

The new paisley is a reinterpretation of the pattern by Thukral & Tagra, employing techniques characteristic of pop art. They perceived paisley as a 'visual rhythm' and arranged it in regular parallel lines. The elegant palm and teardrop motifs have been transformed into a colorful, geometric, modular houndstooth. The men's collection features graphical patterns that blend their unique color palette with the signature 'Arnica' line. Additionally, a version incorporating motifs like houses and trees depicts a fairytale-like landscape.


This capsule collection comprises bags and small leather goods for men and women. The men's collection includes shoulder bags, Boston bags, trolleys, wallets, and iPad cases. The women's collection features colorful luggage items such as tote bags, Bugatti bags, mini Boston bags, and wallets.

Retaining its original spirit, the new paisley is expressed with a pop sensibility through the innovative perspective of Thukral & Tagra. This marks the birth of ETRO's new classic.
