Designs Featuring Decorative Functions Like Vintage Adjusters
—What is the theme/concept for the 2013-14 Autumn/Winter collection?
The brand name "ithelicy" is an abbreviation of "in the policy." While there isn't a seasonal theme, the brand's concept is to propose a style that is conscious of the present by adding decorative functions to the forms and details of memorable, favored, or standard items in daily life.
—What are the key items and key colors?
Key items include clutch bags and Boston bags using vintage adjusters. The key color is charcoal gray, a shade slightly softer than black.
—What "materials" did you focus on this season?
Faux python leather with special processing, and vintage adjusters that were previously used for men's bags.
—What is the most rewarding aspect of being a designer?
The many things that arise from a single idea. New ideas born from encounters and interactions with people, and the joy of seeing them take shape... I find fulfillment in these daily experiences.
—A message to your fans.
Our bags, like the Boston bag that transforms into a tote when unclasped, the masculine clutch bag using vintage adjusters, or the Boston bag with differently designed front and back handles, are all finished with a simple yet slightly unexpected touch.
