A Rich Selection of the High-End "Burberry Prorsum" Line

Roppongi Hills, a landmark in Tokyo's vibrant Roppongi district, has undergone a major renovation of its shopping areas this spring. Keyakizaka Street, with its lush trees and dappled sunlight, is a main thoroughfare lined with luxury brand boutiques. It is here that Burberry has opened its fourth Japanese flagship store, "Burberry Roppongi." The two-story store faces Keyakizaka Street with a glass facade. The first-floor display window featuresActress Sienna Miller, the face of the Autumn/Winter campaign, and her partner, actor Tom Sturridgewelcoming visitors.

The main feature of "Burberry Roppongi" is its extensive collection of Burberry's high-end line, "Burberry Prorsum." To commemorate the opening, the store is the first to offer the Burberry Prorsum Autumn/Winter collection and will also feature exclusive items for the Roppongi store. While details on these limited items will be introduced on the next page, we will first focus on Burberry's new flagship store.

The interior, with its chic, muted color palette dominated by brown, is accented with the solid textures of metal and acrylic. The modern space, down to the selection of fixtures, was personally overseen by Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey, with even the building materials sourced from the UK. Particularly noteworthy is the in-store background music, a curated selection by Bailey himself, featuring tracks from artists supported by Burberry's music project "BURBERRY ACOUSTIC," which supports emerging talent. This creates a sophisticated atmosphere.

The first floor offers a wide array of accessories for men and women, including bags, wallets, watches, and stoles. For women, the selection is particularly rich, featuring new versions of the iconic "Orchard" bag from the Burberry Prorsum runway shows, the "Crush" clutch from the latest Autumn/Winter collection, and bags and wallets that prominently display the brand's signature "Burberry check."

The men's section primarily offers accessories for business use, such as bags and wallets. Items from the Prorsum collection are mainly displayed on the second floor. Ascending the internal staircase to the second floor, visitors will find the men's section at the front and the women's section at the rear. Here, they are greeted by the latest Prorsum collection and heritage Burberry trench coats.
