A Grand Flagship Store, Second Largest in Japan, Designed by Roberto Baciocchi

The Prada Osaka Shinsaibashi store, second largest in Japan after the Aoyama store, boasts approximately 1,100 square meters. The design was handled by architect Roberto Baciocchi, known for his work on the Prada Nagoya store and Miu Miu Ginza store. The interior, spread across five floors, offers a full collection of women's and men's bags and apparel, as well as shoes and sunglasses.


To celebrate the opening, a limited edition bi-color "Saffiano" tote bag, crafted from embossed calf leather – Prada's signature material – will be available exclusively at the Osaka Shinsaibashi store. Two color combinations will be offered: marine blue x aqua blue, and fuchsia pink x pink, showcasing the vibrant hues characteristic of "Saffiano."





The "Saffiano" leather, created by pressing a unique grain onto calfskin, is resistant to scratches and perfect for daily use. The bag features an interior pocket for small items and a detachable shoulder strap for comfortable carrying, ensuring excellent functionality.

The collaboration between Prada and Roberto Baciocchi has consistently resulted in vibrant and edgy spaces. We eagerly anticipate the world they will create this time and are keen to visit the new store.
