Jewelry That Melts into Fashion: "Voyage dans le temps"

Autumn has arrived. This season, we're seeing a wealth of suits and dresses with a sense of gravitas. What catches the eye are the oversized bijoux. While costume jewelry is wonderful, I'm drawn to pieces like vintage or high jewelry that can be incorporated with a playful spirit.

In mid-September, the Biennale des Antiquaires, a jewelry exhibition held every two years, will take place at the Grand Palais in Paris. Place Vendôme is an elegant square where luxury jewelry brands line up. This July, a Louis Vuitton salon for watches and fine jewelry opened in this very location.

What captivated me was the jeweled collar. In the ready-to-wear collections, such details are a specialty of Artistic Director Marc Jacobs. These elements have now been translated into high jewelry.

Regardless of stone size, jewelry that blends seamlessly with fashion is full of Vuitton's signature playfulness. Instead of a piece to covet someday, why not add this season's jewelry to your autumn wardrobe? A stroll around Place Vendôme has become even more delightful.
