The Scent and Bottle Design Symbolizing the 2011 Versace Style
Vanitas is an expression of "femininity." The history of Versace and Vanitas can be told through the essence of Versace, including its colors, imagery, and sketches.
Crafted by perfumer Dora Baglioni Arnold, Versace Vanitas is the culmination of carefully selected pure ingredients and their harmony. Arnold explains, "Imagine delicate petals glistening with dew. Countless flowers, almost untouchable. Emotions expressed through scent. The marriage of Mediterranean elements and Tiare flower has created an authentic fragrance that is both elegant and warm."
The fragrance is floral, with Tiare, and woody notes. A rich, sensual Tiare flower, enhanced by lime and freesia, is enveloped by the sensual accents of cedarwood and tonka beans.
Furthermore, the bottle is as special as the haute couture created in the Versace atelier. The gold metal decoration on one shoulder of the bottle evokes a woman's dewy shoulder. The metal flows down the transparent bottle, softly accentuating its design and suggesting seduction and femininity.
The transparent, light Saran bottle cap is engraved with an ivy leaf, and the gleaming gold metal enhances its precious feel.
