Persol, the esteemed Italian eyewear brand, has unveiled the "Steve McQueen Special Edition," a collection of folding sunglasses that captures the allure of the legendary actor.

A Special Edition Package Featuring Light Havana Frames and Platinum-Plated Lenses
Steve McQueen, known as the "King of Cool" and an icon of masculine style, was a legendary actor who cherished Persol for many years. This special edition, a tribute to his enduring appeal, has been reissued.
Inspired by McQueen's style and passion, the collection features folding sunglasses that can be compactly stowed away.
The yellow frames echo the colors of the Stearman, the first aircraft McQueen piloted, and are paired with sky-blue polarized lenses. Other variations include light Havana frames with light blue polarized lenses, Havana frames with green polarized lenses, and black frames with smoke grey polarized lenses.
Additionally, a limited version with light Havana frames and platinum-plated lenses will be available in a special presentation package.
Each piece in the collection is handcrafted by skilled artisans, adhering to the brand's rigorous standards and manufactured in Italy. The materials used include the highest quality original acetate, steel hinges, and crystal lenses.
The "Steve McQueen Special Edition" embodies the legendary actor's effortless style. The nostalgic, 1990s-inspired campaign visuals, which convey his charisma, are also noteworthy.
