The "John Lobb Marunouchi" store is reopening as a new concept store. It will relocate from the current Kokusai Building to the Shin Tokyo Building on Thursday, March 28, 2024.

Founded in 1866, JOHN LOBB is a British shoe brand that has consistently offered bespoke and ready-to-wear shoes crafted from the finest materials with exceptional artisanal skill.

The "John Lobb Marunouchi" store is the brand's only standalone boutique in Japan. It is relocating from the Kokusai Building to the nearby Shin Tokyo Building. To coincide with this move, the store has been renovated and will embark on a new chapter as a new concept store.

A striking stainless steel fixture is centrally placed within the new store. Its drawers house leather samples, color charts, soles, buckles, and other components necessary for the By Request service. Customers can select these elements to create their own unique pair of shoes.

John Lobb's By Request service allows customers to place custom orders not only for current models but also from the archive collection. Over 100 styles are available, encompassing both classic models and the latest collections.

As its first event post-relocation, the BY REQUEST FAIR will be held from April 19th to 23rd, 2024. During this period, the usual upcharge fee will be waived.

Furthermore, to commemorate this relocation and reopening, a limited edition model of the BATH loafer will be introduced. BATH, launched in 2023, is characterized by stitching inspired by glove-making techniques and offers a soft feel due to its unlined construction.

This limited edition model is a special pair crafted in the Paris bespoke atelier, using rare crocodile suede. The unlined construction of this model, made from luxurious crocodile suede, makes it a fitting debut for the new concept store in terms of both design and detail.
