CHROME HEARTS TOKYO Reopens
A Sacred Space Reimagined, Pulsating with Chrome Hearts' Intense Aura
CHROME HEARTS TOKYO, which first opened as the brand's sole boutique in Japan in December 1999, has undergone a grand renovation and reopened on April 26th, finally revealing its complete form.
Across three floors—from the basement to the second floor—every door, every step of the stairs, embodies the spirit of Chrome Hearts, creating a space that is itself luxurious and special—

The "Store That Feels Like Home" Is Finally Complete
Since its opening in 1999, CHROME HEARTS TOKYO has maintained the store concept of "at home ~a store that feels like home~." With this latest renovation, it has achieved the largest sales floor area of any Chrome Hearts store, finally realizing that "ideal."
The vision of designer and owner Richard Stark and the Chrome Hearts staff to "express everything about Chrome Hearts" has been beautifully realized.
The three floors from the basement to the second floor, along with the open space on the first floor, are all luxuriously utilized as part of the overall space. All store fixtures are the latest models. In addition to the rare ebony wood that has been a signature, modern stainless steel is also incorporated, expressing the fusion and coexistence of contrasting elements and harmony in every aspect.
Discover Japan's Flagship Chrome Hearts Store
Following the opening of "CHROME HEARTS FUKUOKA," the fourth store in Japan, in February, and "CHROME HEARTS NAGOYA," the fifth store, in March, "CHROME HEARTS TOKYO" has now arrived.
For those who wish to experience the store concept of "at home ~a store that feels like home~," head to the second floor first. This lifestyle-focused floor is the first in the world to present Chrome Hearts' residential spaces. Featuring a dining kitchen with antique tiles, a living room, a study, a bedroom, and a bathroom, it is a fully functional space where one could actually live. It's a beautiful collaboration between California country style and Chrome Hearts style.
The open space on the first floor features a basketball court and an outdoor fireplace, inspired by the designer's playful spirit. The basketball net is surprisingly made from a silver chain, a testament to the innovative concept. Furthermore, the first floor serves as a gallery space for Chrome Hearts, with historically significant memorabilia lining the original building's walls, and a Baccarat chandelier dazzling at the new entrance.
The basement level, which connects the original and new buildings, is the main floor where all Chrome Hearts items are displayed. Descending the concrete staircase, which Richard "absolutely wanted to realize," one feels as if entering a museum rather than a store.
Look Forward to a Special Interview with Richard Stark
We conducted an interview with designer and owner Richard Stark and his wife, Laurie Lynn Stark, during their visit to Japan for the grand reopening of "CHROME HEARTS TOKYO." Please look forward to it!
