Introducing the Highly Functional "Travel Tailoring" Suit

The event at Burberry Roppongi will offer made-to-measure suits with a wide range of fits and materials. Among them, the standout "Travel Tailoring" model is a popular collection favored by celebrities.

Designed by Burberry, Travel Tailoring ensures a relaxed fit, even during long flights for busy jet-setters. It's an innovative item that combines classic tailoring techniques with new approaches like the "Motion Canvas Construction" for flexible movement.

While maintaining a sharp silhouette, shoulder pads are omitted and the chest and shoulder areas are shaped using a canvas interlining. Minimal additional interlining is used, resulting in a lighter finish with fewer layers than traditional tailoring. The clever pattern work on the sleeves and body also ensures ample freedom of arm movement.

In terms of material, the natural stretch finish, which does not use elastane (elastic polyurethane yarn), reduces stress on body movements. The use of shape-memory wool also makes it resistant to wrinkles.

During the period from March 17th (Monday), the event will also feature the brand's iconic trench coats, as well as accessories such as bags and watches, designed to complement the tailoring collection.
