Bag brand michino is hosting a pop-up event at the BARNEYS NEW YORK Ginza flagship store. A highlight is the custom service that allows you to print text on the "Squarit" bag. A selection of classic and limited-edition items will also be available. The event runs from Sunday, October 13 to Monday, October 14, 2019.

Born in Tokyo, raised in New York, and now based in Paris, Yas Michino is the creative force behind the bag brand "michino."

He previously served as a leather goods designer for Parisian fashion houses such as Yves Saint Laurent, Givenchy, and Sonia Rykiel, as well as for the Belgian brand Delvaux, before launching his own brand, "michino," in 2014.

michino bags are celebrated for their harmonious blend of French chic, Japanese serenity, and American practicality, earning them high acclaim.

Only the finest leathers are used, with designs crafted in the Paris atelier and production carried out by artisans in Florence, Italy. The result is a finish that speaks of true craftsmanship.

To commemorate the 5th anniversary of the michino brand's founding and the 15th anniversary of the BARNEYS NEW YORK Ginza flagship store's opening, a limited-time pop-up event will be held. Mr. Michino himself will visit Japan for this special occasion.

At this pop-up, a service will be offered to print up to eight characters of your choice onto "Squarit," the brand's signature square-shaped bag.

In addition, classic items printed with greetings such as "SALUT" and "HELLO" will be available. Exclusive items for BARNEYS NEW YORK Ginza, printed with "WOW!", will also be offered.

Customized bags will be ready approximately one month after ordering. This is a rare opportunity to experience the world of michino, so be sure to visit.
