Journey with Scott Campbell

The men's Spring/Summer collection is a collaboration with New York-based tattooist and artist Scott Campbell. Scarves and shirts featuring tattoo prints, and bags adorned with麒麟 (kirin) tattoos are drawing attention.

Scott Campbell is a renowned tattooist who has inked many celebrities, including Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton's Artistic Director. He is now gaining recognition as an artist for his three-dimensional works, such as those made from genuine dollar bills, which are capturing attention in the art scene.


Two short films have been released: the Paris edition, where Scott Campbell visits Louis Vuitton's atelier and family house in the Parisian suburbs, and the New York edition, which captures his daily life, jogging and riding through the streets of his hometown, New York, offering a glimpse into his work. The camera follows Scott Campbell as he moves through the two cities, accompanied by Louis Vuitton items.

Part 1 unfolds as if Louis Vuitton is invited into Scott Campbell's world. Set in his native New York, the film features shots of his home, studio, and everyday city life. Louis Vuitton's Spring/Summer 2011 men's collection items, such as scarves and apparel, are subtly integrated into the world seen through his eyes.

In Part 2, conversely, Scott Campbell is invited into the world of Louis Vuitton, set in Paris. He visits the workshop and family house in Asnières, as well as other iconic Parisian locations. Here too, he is seen wearing Louis Vuitton's soft carbon Boston bag and apparel.
