Alice Made This is a men's costume accessory brand by female designer Alice Walsh and her partner Ed Walsh.

What's unique is how various manufacturing methods serve as design inspiration, skillfully intertwining with the skills of British artisans to be sublimated into luxurious designs.

From an approach that emphasizes the manufacturing process, meticulously designed cufflinks, pins, and rope-work items emerge, leading the designer herself to describe the products with the term "Industry Craft."

The "Rope Work Collection" Inspired by Marine Style

The "Rope Work Collection," featuring hand-tied knots called "stopper knots" developed in collaboration with string-making artisans across England, was born from the designer's passion, craftsmanship, and naval history.

The collection uses smooth, 1.4mm cords made of 16 strands, a material that is highly durable, friction-resistant, and primarily used in maritime applications. The tradition of sailors in the 1800s competing to create various complex knots and hone their skills serves as the inspiration for this collection.
