JOHN LOBB Marunouchi Relocates and Reopens
The JOHN LOBB Marunouchi store first opened in July 2005 on a quiet street, one block in from Marunouchi Naka-dori, towards the Imperial Palace. For approximately nine years, it served as JOHN LOBB's flagship shop, cultivating a large clientele and consistently showcasing fresh designs. Now, due to redevelopment work on the Fuji Building, which is being rebuilt as part of Marunouchi's urban renewal, the current Marunouchi store will close its doors after business on Sunday, October 26th. It will then relocate and reopen on Friday, October 31st, on the first floor of the adjacent Kokusai Building.

Interior and Exterior Design by a French Firm
Marunouchi Naka-dori, known for its proximity to the Imperial Palace and Tokyo Station, is lined with zelkova, katsura, sweetgum, and Chinese toon trees that offer a changing seasonal beauty. While Marunouchi is often perceived as a district for businessmen, the opening of numerous commercial facilities like Marunouchi Building has transformed it into a fashionable street bustling with activity on both weekdays and weekends.
The interior and exterior design of the new Marunouchi store was handled by RDAI (Rena Dumas Architecture Intérieure) of France. The design embodies the world of JOHN LOBB, offering a sophisticated and tranquil aesthetic. Furthermore, the bespoke order space, unique to the Marunouchi store in Japan, has been retained.
Marunouchi Store Exclusive Derby Shoes Also Released
Mr. Tomooki Matsuda, President of JOHN LOBB Japan, stated, "The new store will have a concept similar to the Midtown store. Like the current store, it will feature private spaces, so we hope for your continued patronage."
As a special item, two pairs of derby shoes – the "LUFFIELD" in Black Lizard × Black Misty Calf and Gold Lizard × Chestnut Misty Calf – featuring a fresh combination of exotic lizard leather and misty calf, will be available exclusively at the Marunouchi store starting Friday, October 31st.
