Custom-Ordered Shoes Crafted from Java's Finest Lizard
From the world's finest leather sources, John Lobb has selected lizard from Java, an Indonesian island, specifically the Salvator Monitor, or water monitor lizard. Known as the second-largest lizard species globally, water monitor lizard is prized as the highest quality of reptile leather.
John Lobb offers this premium lizard leather in seven colors: black, dark brown, navy, burgundy, gold, taupe (a greyish beige), and red.
In addition to the three models featured in the photo gallery above, popular classic models such as "WILLIAM," "CITY II," "LOPEZ," and "CHAPEL" are also available for bespoke orders. This leather can be chosen for seven other models as well.

John Lobb, a brand built on tradition and exceptional craftsmanship, has been creating bespoke shoes since its founding in 1858.
For its ready-to-wear collection, the brand offers a made-to-order service that caters to customer requests.
The "Made to Order Fair" allows customers to select their preferred model, have their size fitted, and then choose the leather for their shoes.
A significant draw of this fair is that the pattern order, which typically incurs a 30% surcharge over the retail price, can be placed at the standard retail price during the event.
