A Sophisticated Finish: The Charm of the Brand's Unique Treatment
Founded in Paris in 1895 by an Italian shoemaker, Berluti is a fashion brand highly regarded for its total menswear that blends tradition and modernity. In 2011, Alessandro Sartori was appointed Artistic Director, and the brand expanded into the ready-to-wear sector.
Since 2013, flagship stores have been opened in major cities worldwide to expand the global sales network. Following Paris, London, Shanghai, and Tokyo, a boutique recently opened in New York.
The new collection, in a taupe color (meaning Tela in Italian), uses supple canvas as its main material. By applying the brand's unique finishing technique, "Patina," typically used on leather, to the canvas fabric, it creates a lustrous appearance and an elegant aesthetic.
Furthermore, Venezia Scritto leather is used for the gussets and base straps. The contrast of different materials further enhances the luxurious atmosphere.
The lineup includes the emblematic "UN JOUR" bag, the "F500" trolley, and the "Vendredi" weekender bag. Additionally, as a limited edition for this series only, the new "Jour J" pochette has also been released. The versatile sizing, suitable for various occasions from daily use to travel, is also a key appeal of the collection.
