The latest collection focuses on "dress suiting styles."
Takahiro Matsushita, a Paris-based designer who finds fulfillment in “encountering good things and people,” presents the 2014-15 Autumn/Winter collection for his brand “m’s braque.” The image photos for both men’s and women’s lines have arrived. We introduce all the looks that are gradually becoming available in stores for the Pre-Fall season.

A couple, evoking 1930s Paris.
Regarding the concept behind this season’s lookbook shoot, Takahiro Matsushita states, “It’s a dress suiting style for both men and women.” He highlights key items such as a duffle coat in blue shaggy fabric with a silk lining for men, and for women, jackets and dresses made from cashmere and mink blends. Navy was a particularly important color choice this season.
For this season’s lookbook shoot, Matsushita cast a male Parisian accordionist and a young woman as his models. He explains, “Are they a couple, or what is their relationship? We’ve created a pairing that suggests an ambiguous connection. We’ve finished the images to evoke 1930s Paris, reminiscent of Brassai’s photography.”
The styling is more mature than previous seasons, focusing on suits and dress styles, with the visual imagery presented in monochrome to create a distinct atmosphere.
Abundant unisex designs are reversible.
The collection’s wardrobe features similar designs for both men and women, including suits, duffle coats, coats, harem pants, shirts, military pants, and riders jackets. The visual sequence is also arranged to showcase the couple’s styling.
This season’s key color, navy, is incorporated into a single design using cashmere and mink, expressing variations in shade and the texture of the material within one item.
Notable items include unisex reversible blousons in navy and scarf print, and purple and navy boleros (for women) or jackets with die-cut pockets. Reversible pieces are a key feature this season. For women, there are also reversible flared skirts in combinations like quilted black and leopard print, or navy cashmere and polka dots.
The men’s ties are a collaboration with "Tie Your Tie." The women’s suede shoes with gold hardware (in navy) are a limited edition collaboration with "Le yucca's," a brand whose items the designers themselves also wear.
