Year Model "JOHN LOBB 2010" Released

John Lobb has released its annual "Year Model" simultaneously worldwide every year since 1996, on October 25th, the feast day of St. Crispin, the patron saint of shoemakers. This year, a simple yet unique pair has been launched.

A Showcase Model Demonstrating John Lobb's Finest Craftsmanship

The 2010 Year Model, "JOHN LOBB 2010," is a double monk strap shoe that, while showcasing John Lobb's supreme artisanal skill, pursues a simple design.

The original buckle, designed by Philippe Mouquet, who also designs for Hermès, adds a touch of flair to the simplicity, creating a perfectly proportioned and elegant silhouette. Furthermore, the skin stitch work on the inside of the upper reveals the soul of John Lobb's craftsmen.

The material used is supple, high-quality Misty Calf, crafted from a single piece of leather, similar to the "2009" model. The subtle variations in color, inherent to the finest leather, enhance the beauty of the simple silhouette, which features minimal stitching on the upper.

The last is the classic 7000, renowned for its excellent fit on Japanese feet. This last ensures that the wearer can fully appreciate the joy of wearing a design that embodies John Lobb's pursuit of ultimate simplicity.

Additionally, a belt, "LASCALA," has been newly released, designed to complement the buckle of the Year Model "JOHN LOBB 2010." The leather part uses Oxford Calf, a symbol of John Lobb's Prestige style. It features delicate and elegant double stitching, resulting in a beautiful finish. The belt width is 32mm, perfectly suited for sophisticated and simple attire.
