More than just bags, they always possess a duality—"HERGOPOCH" is a coined word combining "Ergonomics" and "Epoch."

Born in 2005, HERGOPOCH is a brand for a new era, named with this concept. It fully embodies the expertise accumulated over half a century by Kiyomoto, a domestic bag manufacturer that previously operated as an OEM factory. This year, marking five years since the brand's inception, also coincides with the company's 50th anniversary. The collection continues to mature and impress.

This is not a self-satisfied "Made in Japan" product with unrealistic pricing or construction. They are meticulously finished as practical tools, with pricing that holds its own logic. To convey the "joy of ownership" alongside the "joy of use," the functionality and design are imbued with elements of "superior quality," "originality," "durability," and "beauty." This is achieved by realizing the previously difficult balance between functionality and design, such as adjusting handle length for hand-carry or shoulder-carry, or altering gusset width for business bags to manage capacity.

HERGOPOCH bags are simultaneously tools and accessories. For the businessman, one can choose from serious briefcases to casual totes. For off-duty occasions, they offer body bags that conform to the body and shoulder bags with ample capacity. A selection of colors is available, and some models come in various sizes. Among the diverse collection, the "Prime Grain Leather" series, unveiled last year, is drawing significant attention. It features a superb lineup that transitions seamlessly between on and off-duty settings.

This uniquely developed "Prime Grain Leather" boasts a finish comparable to the finest Tuscan vegetable-tanned leathers. Its distinctive, large natural grain on the surface is rich in oil, and the thick, undyed leather is soft and supple. When touched, it emits a firm "squeak," a testament to its quality. The raised grain on the surface also absorbs minor scratches, making it ideal for daily use. Naturally, with use, the leather ages and develops a richer patina, adapting to its owner.

Due to the luxurious use of high-quality leather, primarily from the back of the cow to maximize unblemished surfaces, there is considerable surplus, yet this is not reflected in the price. Despite such intricate craftsmanship, the bags never feel overly ostentatious. They quietly stand by, enhancing the owner's individuality. This is the essence of Japanese quality.
