Sukezane“There’s a brand I discovered when I picked up an item at a select shop and thought, ‘Ah, this is good.’ It’s a British brand called Wales Bonner. It’s the label by Grace Wales Bonner, who won the Grand Prix at the 2016 LVMH Young Fashion Designer Prize.”

The items from this brand have a wonderful use of color. For example, the shirts are minimal with narrow shoulders and a hidden placket, but the shade of orange is very organic. The yellow of the tie-dye cut-and-sew is also beautiful. And the idea of using knit for the side stripes on the jersey pants is interesting. I feel a good mix of her roots in the Caribbean and this season’s theme, 'A Journey to India.'”

“They’ve been presenting collections in London since the Spring/Summer 2017 season, so I’d love to see one.”
