Exquisite Stitchwork Enhancing a Modern Impression
If you desire refinement, flair, and the classic John Lobb aesthetic...—...then the "ILFORD," introduced in the 2012 Spring/Summer collection, is the answer.
First, your eye is drawn to the exquisite, butterfly-like medallion adorning the cap toe. And though it might be easily overlooked, the craftsmanship is remarkable in how the pointed apex of the quarter's seam is designed to appear as if the facings and vamp are inverted. This is a testament to the artisan's skill, a touch of handwork.
The stitching lines are fluid, and note how their spacing gradually narrows towards the pointed apex. This is a design that embodies John Lobb's meticulous attention to detail.
