California-based "John Elliott" Lands in Japan


The highly anticipated brand "JOHN ELLIOT + CO (John Elliott)," which received the "Best New Menswear Designer in America" award from American GQ magazine in 2014, has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Sazaby League for Japan. The brand will launch in Japan starting with the Spring/Summer 2015 season.

Collaboration Collection with GAP Now Available in Japan


"John Elliott" was founded in California in 2012 by San Francisco-born designer John Elliott. The brand is characterized by its fusion of modern aesthetics and traditional craftsmanship, with designs that subtly incorporate playful elements into basic items.



Attention is also paid to quality, with all items produced in Los Angeles. Using premium materials such as micromodal, French terry, and zippers from the Swiss company "riri," the brand offers simple, functional lifestyle wear that balances beautiful silhouettes with excellent tailoring. Prices range from ¥26,000 for sweatshirts, ¥10,000 for cut-and-sew items, and ¥28,000 for pants.

In 2014, he received the "Best New Menswear Designer in America" award, presented to promising young designers, alongside brands like MNII and Brooklyn Tailors. This award is also known for having previously recognized Todd Snyder, Mark McNairy, and Saturdays Surf NYC.



Furthermore, from December 15th (Monday), a limited collection for the holiday season, created in collaboration with "GAP," will be released in Japan. In addition to John Elliott, Rob Garcia of En Noir, Daniel Lewis of Brooklyn Tailors, and John Moore of MNII are participating in this project.
