To the Opening Event of Gucci Fifth Avenue
Tomoki Sukezane, visiting New York for photo shoots, attended the opening event for Gucci Fifth Avenue, Gucci's largest flagship store in the world. After the press conference, our guide to the new store was Gucci CEO, Mr. Mark Lee.

Buying a drink at a coffee stand around the shop,
we got this cup.
They also had several other sizes. Coffee vendors around the store carry this special logo coffee cups which come in different sizes.

The window display was entirely "Gucci Loves New York"
Window display was fully devoted to "Gucci Loves New York"
Gucci Fifth Avenue appeared in a corner of the Trump Tower. This flagship store, luxuriously occupying the corner of Fifth Avenue and E56th Street, is designed to offer ample views of Fifth Avenue from inside. The scenery visible from the shoe sections on the 2nd and 3rd floors is particularly stunning. The contrast between the spacious, luxurious interior and the classic Fifth Avenue view is breathtaking.
The ceiling height, unimaginable in Japan, also contributes to a relaxed and luxurious atmosphere. Along the staircase, alternating gold and clear bars are arranged, creating a wavy mood from a distance that is quite pleasing.
Considering its location within the gleaming Trump Tower, I believe the slightly lighter gold finish compared to the Ginza store enhances the chic ambiance. Amidst the vibrant displays lining Fifth Avenue, Gucci's window, with its flamboyant showcase of "Gucci Loves New York" bags, was a truly eye-catching spot.

CEO Mark Lee kindly gave us a tour of the store. Mark's suit was tailored in the made-to-order section on the second floor. He looked sharp.
Gucci CEO Mr. Mark Lee generously took us to a tour of the store by himself. His suits were tailor-made in the made-to-order section on the 2nd floor.

Here We Go! To Gucci Fifth Avenue
Tomoki Sukezane, visiting New York for photo shoots, attended the opening event for Gucci Fifth Avenue, Gucci's largest flagship store in the world.
After the press conference, our guide to the new store was Gucci CEO, Mr. Mark Lee.
Gucci Fifth Avenue opened in the Trump Tower. The store, which lavishly occupies the corner of Fifth Avenue and East 56th Street, was designed to fully enjoy the view over the Fifth Avenue. Especially, the view from the shoes section on the 2nd and the 3rd floors are exquisite. The contrast between the spacious and luxurious floors and scenery of classic Fifth Avenue seen from the store is the highlight of this new boutique.
The high ceiling - nearly impossible height in Japan - provides ample and
rich environment. A series of vertical gold and clear Plexiglas rods are lined along a free-floating staircase. It looks like an undulant shape altogether from a distance and convey warmth.
Considering the use of glistening gold of the Trump Tower, Gucci's choice of slightly duller gold than Ginza store succeeded to enhance chicness. Gucci's display window where "Gucci Loves NY" bags were flamboyantly showcased was quite eye-catchy among many boutiques with gorgeous displays along Fifth Avenue.
