ATEX, the developer of the lifestyle gadget "Mon LOURDES," has begun handling the "Mon LOURDES Wearable Cool & Hot," a next-generation neck item equipped with a Peltier element, which is active all year round, starting Friday, May 1, 2020.

A wearable item that quickly switches between cooling and heating.

Mon LOURDES is a new brand that proposes simple and stylish items for the gadget-loving, trend-conscious generation aged 20-40.

In recent years, with heatwaves continuing, handheld fans and wearable fans have gained popularity. In response to the demand for something smarter to wear and that cools more quickly, the "Mon LOURDES Wearable Cool & Hot" was developed. It achieves a slim and stylish design suitable for the office, while incorporating both a Peltier element and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, making it a next-generation wearable item.

This item features fan-less cooling and heating technology using a Peltier element (thermoelectric cooling function). The cooling (or heating) part directly touches the neck, providing a sensation that handheld or wearable fans cannot offer. In cool mode, you can feel the coolness immediately, making even hot days comfortable. Switching to hot mode not only provides warmth for cold weather but also a gentle, pleasant warmth on the neck in air-conditioned spaces during summer.

Mon LOURDES Wearable Cool & Hot Cooling & Heating Technology

Whether it's hot or cold, you can switch between cooling and heating with a single button. The switch between cool (approx. 20°C) and hot (approx. 40°C) takes about 50 seconds, making it speedy. Since there is no fan, it is also quiet and can be used in any situation.

The main unit measures approximately 165×175×50mm (W×L×H) and weighs about 300g, making it compact and lightweight. It is easy to carry and can be used throughout the year.
