Featuring Original Designs
GENERAL VIEW is a new project from MAR ENTERPRISE, previously known for its apparel brands. The shop offers renovation items and daily necessities that are commonly used overseas but difficult to find in Japan.
The collection includes switch systems, door handles, enamel sinks, lights, fuel canisters, folding steps, and porcelain. Some items feature original designs by GENERAL VIEW. Notably, Naomi Hirabayashi serves as director and designer.
For example, the simple yet functional German-made folding storage box with the GENERAL VIEW logo is from "WALTHER," a brand established in 1979 that has supported global industry through the design and manufacture of transportable folding plastic containers. Its design is both simple and timeless, while its robust and highly functional construction, with meticulous attention to detail, is also noteworthy.
The "Hamburg Wand" wall-mounted light from "BOLICHWERKE," a specialist in lighting fixtures headquartered in Southern Germany since its founding in 1911, is characterized by its diagonally cut conical shade. Once used as a shelf lamp, it is now found in cafes, restaurants, and outdoor settings.
The Fuel can PROFI 20L is made by "HÜNERSDORFF" in Germany. Certified by German TÜV standards, it boasts high safety. Its square body allows for stacking vertically and horizontally. The secure cap makes it ideal for transporting fuel or liquids, and it can be used not only for fuel but also for general liquid storage and gardening.
The lightweight and functional folding step, with its wide tread for safe use by children, is made by "KRAUSE," a company founded in 1900 with over a century of history. It stores compactly, taking up little space, and features a non-slip surface. Made in Germany, it excels in practicality, functionality, safety, and ease of use.
