An exclusive interview with Israeli photographer Tamar Carvan.
A Photographer Who Continues to Project Her Way of Life as a Woman and as a Human Being into Her Work
Tamar Carvan, a leading Israeli photographer, is also a mother, an artist, a therapist for her children, and a fashion leader. ISRAERU conducted an exclusive interview with her about her past, her thoughts on fashion, and her emotions.
Text by ISRAERU
Tamar Carvan first encountered a camera at the age of 12, when she found one among her father's belongings. That encounter would change her life forever.
From then on, Tamar never let go of her camera, wherever she went. Together with her father, artist Doni Carvan, she never missed an opportunity to photograph the artists they met during their work trips as a family.
Raised in such an environment, Tamar has now become not only a leading Israeli photographer but also a mother, an artist, a therapist for her children, and a fashion leader. We attempted an interview with Tamar about her past, her ongoing projects, her thoughts on fashion, and the inner emotions that stimulate her creativity.
