A Refined Lifestyle That Ignites the "Collector's Urge"
ACTUS has been drawing attention with its ambitious store openings, including the Aoyama store at its founding location last summer, a renovated Yokohama store in February, and the opening of the Otakanomori store in March. Now, ACTUS has opened its Umeda store in the highly anticipated Grand Front Osaka.
The Umeda store, based on the shop's theme of "mindful living," offers a curated selection of original furniture and interior雑貨. Furthermore, under the concept of "COLLECTOR," it also features apparel and food items, presenting a new lifestyle.
Among the standout items are plates and mugs from "Design Letters," featuring beautiful typography designed by the Nordic master Arne Jacobsen, exclusively available at ACTUS. Also recommended are jams and granola from "ROYAL YARD HOTEL," a new brand conceptualized around a fictional hotel in a certain country, where stories of its patrons unfold through food.
Additionally, limited edition map totes "OSAKA" and rare mugs by New York-based stylist Rachel Rheingold and cartographer Michael Berick, ceramics by potter Mutsumi Kagoshima (sold out), and "SOHOLM CAFE" 16oz cotton bags are already proving popular.
A Nordic-Style Cafe
SOHOLM CAFE + DINING, currently available at five ACTUS locations including Shinjuku, Kyoto, and Shonan, makes its Osaka debut. The menu features authentic Swedish meatballs, a staple of traditional Nordic cuisine, alongside a rich selection of salads, pastas, main dishes, and new arrangements of seafood and vegetable-based dishes.
The cafe offers a diverse menu, including ovo-lacto vegetarian options that balance plant-based foods with eggs and dairy, presenting itself as an approachable and friendly cafe dining experience.
