A New Challenge from a World-Renowned Metalworking Manufacturer in Tsubame, Niigata
Oizumi Bussan, a metalworking manufacturer based in Tsubame City, Niigata, is known for producing high-design stainless steel cutlery, including the "Kai Bojesen Stainless Cutlery" favored by the Danish royal family.
The company has now partnered with design studio KITSUCA to launch its original brand, "OH!". The first collection, the "Stainless mouth" series of table items themed around the "mouth," will be released at the end of August.
The lineup features chopstick rests (seven types) and cutlery rests inspired by the "mouth," which is inseparable from eating, with designs like "ochobo-guchi" (small pursed lips) and "heno-ji guchi" (a downturned mouth). They are also recommended as tools for communication at the dining table.
