A Rarity: Limited to 100 Units Worldwide
The "Leica APO-Summicron-M f2.0/50mm ASPH." is a lens with the highly sought-after 50mm focal length. It achieves exceptional rendering capabilities, delivering high contrast and sharp detail even at the edges of the frame, right from its widest aperture.
Its optical design incorporates a floating system, where the rear lens group changes its relative position during focusing, ensuring superb image quality even for close-up shots.
Among its eight lenses, three utilize anomalous dispersion glass for excellent chromatic aberration correction, and two employ special glass with high refractive indices. This configuration is based on special glass materials originally developed by Leitz.
While incorporating this glass requires advanced manufacturing techniques, Leica has succeeded in polishing these high-performance elements to create this lens.
The "Leica APO-Summicron-M f2.0/50mm ASPH. Red," adorned in its new color, features red anodizing as an accent. The red complements the black body, creating a striking aesthetic.
Crafted with meticulous hand assembly at Leica's German factory, using only the finest materials, the "Leica APO-Summicron-M f2.0/50mm ASPH. Red" embodies reliability, performance, and exclusivity.
