The Latest in a Longevity Series Calendar, Now in its 34th Year

The 2016 edition of "PAPER CALENDAR," featuring hand-drawn illustrations by Takahiro Nagino that delight the eye, is now on sale at the online shop handling Nagino's works (nagino.stores.jp), as well as at NADiff, onSundays, TOKYO CULTUART by BEAMS, and organ.

The calendar, where not only the illustrations but also all the text are hand-drawn by Nagino, transforms the daily act of checking the passage of time from a mundane task into a flavorful experience, bringing peace to the heart.

The accompanying ZINE introduces the motifs of the illustrations that adorn each monthly page. Both the calendar and the ZINE are printed in a soft, slightly bluish-gray ink, resulting in a gentle yet easily readable finish.

Takahiro Nagino
Graduated from Tama Art University, Department of Graphic Design. Held solo exhibitions at G8 Gallery (Recruit) in 1991, HB Gallery in 2000, and Peter's Gallery in 2006. His books include "Kore wa Akko-chan" (Biliiken Publishing) and "HELLO NAGINO POSTERS" (Rombundo). Also active in Shukudai Kousakuten and OBANDOS.
