Concept: "A box that delivers the extraordinary"
MONOLOGUE, known for designing shops like Osaka's LUCUA, department store interiors, "BMW Motorrad OSAKA CHUO," and salons, has opened "the CONTAINER" with the concept of "a box that delivers the extraordinary."
Yusuke Hanaoka, the principal, has directed the interior design for brands such as the candle brand "SWATi," and has handled interior design for a wide range of fashion brands, from American to European styles.
Starting this year, the base of operations will be in three locations: Osaka, Fukuoka, and Tokyo. The Tokyo "the CONTAINER" will offer antique furniture, miscellaneous goods, and plants for sale and lease. The space itself also functions as a rental space for galleries and exhibitions. In the future, a laser cutter currently used in Osaka is planned to be relocated to Tokyo.
Yusuke Hanaoka states, "The shop can also be rented out as a gallery or photo studio. We aim to provide a creative space not just for displaying items we find interesting, but for collaboratively generating new ideas."
