A Nostalgic Logo That Touches the Heart, and a Simple Yet Addictive Game.
The legendary video game "PONG," released by the American company ATARI in 1972, has reappeared as a table game, equipped with the latest features and design.
Retro sound effects and flashing effects upon ball reflection faithfully recreate the original. Instead of an embedded LCD panel, the unit uses magnets and motors beneath the glass tabletop to move the ball and paddles.
The "TABLE PONG" evokes the charm of old-fashioned game tables found in nostalgic coffee shops. Yet, its refined and catchy presence, with seven-colored neon lights and the "PONG" logo emblazoned on the side, adds an accent to any interior.
The control panel lid opens and closes, transforming it into a stylish coffee table when shut. It also boasts excellent utility, displaying an LED clock when not in play and equipped with four USB ports for smartphone charging. It's sure to be a focal point at home parties.
"TABLE PONG" is on display and available for exclusive pre-sale at the IDC OTSUKA Shinjuku Showroom until Friday, August 31st. Why not try out the reborn "PONG"?
