Caudex plants have been experiencing an unprecedented boom in recent years. "Caudex" is a general term for plants with root or stem parts that form a bulbous shape, and the pioneer in this field is "BOTANIZE," an exotic plant shop with physical stores in Shirokane and Daikanyama, Tokyo.

The greatest charm of caudex plants is, without a doubt, their adorable shape. Among them, Pachypodium Gracilius, native to Madagascar, is a representative species boasting high popularity. It is characterized by its round shape and short branches, but because it takes a long time to grow and there are significant individual differences, well-shaped specimens have inevitably become expensive and difficult to obtain.

They released the "VCD Pachypodium Gracilius" as a finished figure at the same scale in September 2020, and it immediately sold out.
