MEDICOM TOY

Held in Bangkok from February 2, 2024 (Fri) to February 29, 2024 (Thu)

Curated by Tatsuhiko Akashi, the president of Medicom Toy, "AKASHIC RECORDS" exhibits and sells works by carefully selected artists, brands, and content from around the world. The event's name is derived from the concept of "Akashic Records," which posits that all events, thoughts, and emotions since the birth of the universe are recorded. Launched in 2020, the event has also been featured at "Art Fair Tokyo," one of Japan's largest art fairs, in 2022 and 2023. Now, this highly anticipated event is finally making its international debut.

Pinsuwan Benjarong
"Pinsuwan Benjarong" refers to the Benjarong pottery workshop in Amphawa, Samut Songkhram province. Benjarong ware is a traditional Thai five-color pottery produced entirely by hand. Originating during the Ayutthaya dynasty as royal court ware, the intricate patterns are hand-painted onto pure white porcelain by skilled artisans. This collaboration features BE@RBRICK and BE@RMUG available for order at the venue. The fusion of contemporary art toy design with traditional Thai pottery creates unique collector's items that bridge different cultures.
