The 2019 film "Joker" depicts the transformation of a kind-hearted young man aspiring to be a comedian into the Joker. It won the Golden Lion at the Venice International Film Festival and the Academy Award for Best Actor, and its sequel, "Joker: Folie à Deux," was released in 2024. At NEW ART GUILD, artist NAGNAGNAG's long-cherished retro-style Joker Sofubi figure has been brought to life by his close friend PIED PIPER, who inherited his will. Following the first release in standard size (scheduled for December 2025), this iteration features the character posed astride a functional wind-up tricycle.

 

While there are many Sofubi figures of popular characters riding wind-up tricycles, NAGNAGNAG's productions have always been uniquely surprising.
