MEDICOM TOY's Gallery by Amplifier series, which brings Yoshitaka Amano's lifelong project "DEVA LOKA" to life in sofubi, presents its latest masterpiece: "ARGHOS (from DEVA LOKA)."

Yoshitaka Amano, a master of the globally renowned fantasy art world. He joined Tatsunoko Production, an animation studio, at the age of 15, where he was responsible for character designs for works like "Time Bokan." After going independent in 1982, he debuted as an illustrator.

His career has been remarkably diverse, including character design for "Final Fantasy" in 1987, stage art for "Yang Guifei" in 1992, costume design for the film "Onmyoji" in 2001, and co-directing "Seventh Night" for the omnibus film "Ten Nights of Dreams" in 2007. His achievements have earned him numerous accolades, such as the domestic "Seiun Award" and international awards like the "Eisner Award," "Dragon Con Award," and "Inkpot Award."

It is this "DEVA LOKA," which Amano has continued to paint as his life's work since a solo exhibition in Berlin in 2008, that transcends genres such as "anime," "games," "novels," "stage," and "film."

DEVA LOKA, meaning "Abode of the Gods" in Latin, is, according to Amano, a world that encompasses everything he has created to date, including anime and games, with the themes of "Big Bang" and "Creation."

The Gallery by Amplifier series has previously released the half-god, half-beast "NEPTROS," the crimson flame "VALCANO," the great-winged "PHALGUS," and the twin-headed "BARSAGUN." "ARGHOS" marks the fifth release in the series. "ARGHOS" features a colorful gradient applied to parts of its jet-black body, expressing a majestic stance clad in heavy armor. The collaborative work with RINNOSUKE®, who has handled the prototype production since the first installment of the series, and PIED PIPER, responsible for the color design, is once again exceptional.

The Gallery by Amplifier series continues to expand the fantastical world created by Yoshitaka Amano through successive sculptural works.
