Tokyo Skytree, a new landmark symbolizing Tokyo, opened on May 22, 2012, embodying traditional Japanese aesthetics.
Its silhouette, stretching 634 meters into the sky, incorporates the "sori" (upward curve) and "mukuri" (outward curve) found in traditional Japanese architecture, with gentle lines evoking people gathering and connecting under a large tree.

The MEDICOM TOY Tokyo Skytree Town Solamachi store is a flagship shop that blends the charm of Tokyo's downtown with a focus on its signature series of Japanese-themed, limited-edition BE@RBRICKs. At the store's entrance, a multi-colored BE@RBRICK 3000% (approximately 2 meters tall) welcomes visitors. BE@RBRICK KARIMOKU Daruma San Silver 400%
A premium model, this wooden BE@RBRICK by KARIMOKU is crafted by Takasaki Daruma artisan "Koki." The tradition of making papier-mâché daruma dolls in the Toyooka and Hachiman areas of Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture, dates back over 200 years. Known for its "eyebrows of cranes and mustache of turtles," it's also called "Fuku Daruma" (lucky daruma) or "Engi Daruma" (auspicious daruma) due to these symbols of good fortune. Each piece is meticulously finished by skilled artisans, representing the ultimate in craftsmanship.
