The film "Joker," an original story, garnered intense debate due to its provocative content, yet it won the Golden Lion at the 79th Venice International Film Festival. It received 11 nominations at the 92nd Academy Awards, including Best Picture, and won for Best Actor and Best Original Score. A cult classic that also achieved massive box office success.

 

Artist NAGNAGNAG, who passed away suddenly on November 3, 2023, was also captivated by the film. During his life, he ardently wished to see the Joker from this work realized as a sofubi figure.

 

Subsequently, the sequel "Joker: Folie à Deux" was released in 2024. NEW ART GUILD, carrying on NAGNAGNAG's vision, produced a sofubi figure based on the sculpt by his close friend, PIED PIPER. In remembrance of NAGNAGNAG, who passed away without seeing "Joker: Folie à Deux," the figure perfectly captures the Joker's details and madness.
