MEDICOM TOY NEXT, MEDICOM TOY's new directly managed store, opened on March 1, 2025 (Saturday) on the 4th floor of Shibuya PARCO.

The first thing that strikes you upon entering is the sheer size. It's said to be about twice the space of the former "2G TOKYO" (closed February 11, 2025) that was previously located in Shibuya PARCO. The high ceiling creates an open atmosphere, and the exposed ductwork lends a steampunk vibe.

Inside, partitions are intentionally avoided, with floor mat colors and patterns guiding visitors through different sections. The store comprehensively stocks items ranging from BE@RBRICKs to action figures, sofubi, apparel, and miscellaneous goods, offering an experience of MEDICOM TOY's entire ecosystem, transcending genres, borders, mass appeal, and niche interests.

The store name's origin stems from two sentiments: "NEXT to you" and "NEXT for you."

With a concept of "creating what we want," MEDICOM TOY consistently delivers new inspiration. While catering to diverse needs such as "viewing," "playing," "collecting," "discussing," and "gifting," the store aims to weave new stories with each customer in this unique space.

To commemorate the opening, special items exclusively available at the MEDICOM TOY NEXT store are now on sale. First, twelve new BE@RBRICK designs, a collaboration with the internationally acclaimed French textile sculptor Anne Valérie Dupond, have been released.

Also featured are the second series of Haruki Okayama's "POPCORN BE@R," the "Chocolate Ver.," and new sakura-motif "BE@RBRICK FLOR@" by MAMES.

The collaboration with "Karimoku" includes new wooden BE@RBRICKs, each meticulously handcrafted by skilled artisans, alongside a wooden statue of Yusuke Hanai's "Mr. STOOP," approximately 300mm in height. Furthermore, the lineup is packed with sofubi from emerging artists, a collaboration with Will Sweeney after approximately six years, and the "Chōyaku Ni-byō" collection.
